Curb Side Tree Limb Collection Policy
Objective: To provide Village residents and business owners
with an economical way of disposing Tree clippings and
not burning clippings.
Goal: Collect & chip all tree limbs that are placed
in Village owned Right-of-Way each Monday or the following
day if Monday is a Holiday.
Rules:
- Collection period starts the first Monday in March
and ends the Last Monday in November.
- Tree Limbs are to be no longer than 8 feet and no
greater than 10 inch in Diameter.
- If the resident or business owner hires a commercial
tree trimming company to cut down a tree, the commercial
contractor is responsible for tree limb removal and
the Village shall not collect Limbs.
- Tree Limb is defined as a limb removed from the trunk
of a tree. Trunks and root balls of a tree may not
be removed by the Village.
- Tree Limbs must be in place for collection by 8:00
AM of the collection day.
- The Village staff has a right to refuse to remove
any landscape waste deemed not a tree limb.
- It is not the Village Staffs responsibility to assist
Village residents in removing Landscape waste that
does not qualify as Tree Limbs.
