Village Staff
Heather Kimmons - Village Administrator
Appointed 2010. Duties are to supervise all departments of the Village. Administrator is the budget officer, promulgates administrative rules, appoints and removes employees, and is to administer the policies of the Board of Trustees. The Administrator is also the Village's zoning official.
Rhonda Stewart Rhonda Stewart - Village Treasurer
Appointed July 2001. Duties include accounts payable, accounts receivable, maintaining of general ledger, custodian of Village Funds/investments, monthly Treasurer reports, water/sewer reports, reconciliations, payroll, maintaining employee records, quarterly/calendar year end/fiscal year end reporting, village's agent for employees insurance, IMRF and ICMA. Assists with budget developing/maintenance, and utility billing/adjustments/coding. Certified Municipal Treasurer with IMTA, member of IGFOA and authorized agent of IMRF. Attends all village board meetings and is staff liaison for the Finance Committee.
Kathy Mizer Kathy Mizer - Village Clerk
Her duties are to keep the corporate seal and all papers belonging to the municipality. She attends all meetings of the Village Board and keeps an official record of their proceedings. The Village Clerk acts as the Secretary for the Plan Commission and processes requests for variances and Special Use Permits. The Clerk acts as the local Election Official to include voter registration, issues all Village permits and licenses to include door-to-door sales, liquor licenses, fireworks, demolition and excavation permits.

Kim Stahulak

Kim Stahulak - Secretary/Receptionist
Duties include the Village monthly water/sewer billing, processing water/sewer applications, and new permits. Kim also is in charge of processing reservations for the Community Center/Conference Room, Park Pavilions, Ball Diamonds and Soccer Fields. This position is responsible for mailing of committee notices and keeping the records associated with each of the committee. Answering the phone and assisting with resident’s needs or directing inquires to the appropriate department is another responsibility of the Secretary/Receptionist.

Jean Campbell

Jean Campbell - Head Librarian
Head Librarian since September 1999, her duties are to administer the day-to-day operations of the library, supervise a staff of eight, select and maintain materials for the adult collections and advise members of the Library Advisory Committee on library matters locally and beyond. The Head Librarian is responsible for preparing the library budget, completing the annual report and per capita grant application, long-range planning and the efficient use of library resources.

Larry Coloni

Larry Coloni - Public Works Director
Employed by the Village since 1991, Larry is responsible for the daily operation of the Public Works Department which includes Water Treatment & Distribution, Wastewater Collection system, Traffic Signal Maintenance, Building Maintenance, Street Maintenance, Park Maintenance and delegation of duties to the Public Works Employees. Larry has over 30 years experience in Water Treatment and Public Works. Involved in many professional organizations such as the Illinois Section American Water Works Association, Illinois Chapter American Public Works Association, Illinois Parks & Recreation Association.
