A great place to learn
Whether you’re a K-12 student or a life-long student, Forsyth is a great place to learn. Each year, Forsyth Elementary School enrolls approximately 300 students
who benefit from friendly classroom sizes and modern teaching techniques and equipment.

Maroa-Forsyth High School is host to approximately 320 students and boasts an excellent reputation not just for its academics, but also for its athletics. In fact, Maroa-Forsyth is a perennial powerhouse in Class A boys high school basketball.

Forsyth also has its own public library, with a 30,000-volume collection, as well as ready access to a much larger collection through a partnership with other public libraries in the region. The Forsyth Public Library also has a wide variety of video, periodical, and other reference materials.

Forsyth’s spiritual community is represented by Forsyth Baptist, Forsyth United Methodist, and Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, and there are dozens of other churches within a 15-minute drive.
